At Tahoe Valley, chronic absenteeism has fallen 32% over the 5-year window — from 5.5% in 2017 to 3.7% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 22.5% below in 2017 to 24.3% below in 2020.
