At WALTON INITIATIVE FOR SUCCESS IN EDUCATION (WISE), chronic absenteeism has been essentially flat over the 5-year window — from 0.0% in 2015 to 28.3% in 2020. The gap vs US average of ~28% has narrowed — from 28.0% above in 2015 to 0.3% above in 2020.
