What we're seeing
At Hutsonville Elem and Jr High Sch, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 10% over the 5-year window — from 10.0:1 in 2021 to 9.0:1 in 2024. Despite that, the gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has actually widened — from 5.4:1 below in 2021 to 6.4:1 below in 2024.
