At KIPP ALWAYS MENTALLY PREPARED CHARTER, chronic absenteeism has fallen 79% over the 5-year window — from 16.8% in 2015 to 3.6% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 11.2% below in 2015 to 24.4% below in 2020.
