At VICTORIA REGIONAL JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER, chronic absenteeism has fallen 49% over the 5-year window — from 25.6% in 2015 to 13.2% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 2.4% below in 2015 to 14.8% below in 2020.
