At PROSPECT ELEMENTARY, chronic absenteeism has risen 37% over the 5-year window — from 53.9% in 2015 to 73.8% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 25.9% above in 2015 to 45.8% above in 2020.
