What we're seeing
At PS 177, chronic absenteeism has risen 75% over the 5-year window — from 29.4% in 2015 to 51.4% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 1.4% above in 2015 to 23.4% above in 2020.
