What we're seeing
At PS 36, chronic absenteeism has risen 82% over the 5-year window — from 36.4% in 2015 to 66.3% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 8.4% above in 2015 to 38.3% above in 2020.
